Can I Borrow $25?
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year
old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think:
Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25.00 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man.
'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.
If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
This story not only talking about Father and Son only but it also talking about everyone around us, example our parent, our lover and so on. So we must arrange and spend more time together with them. Don't wait until there borrow $25 from us :)

家庭醫學科專科醫師張
三十不到的少婦，身材中等。她告訴我，和先生行房後偶有出血的情形，大約有一年了，最近三月來變本加厲，在沒有行房的情形的下，也常在內褲發現出血點。我請她上檢查台檢查一下，順便作個抹片檢查。
不知是診間的冷氣太強，或是有點緊張的關係，她跨在腳架上的雙腳有點發抖。我輕拍她的膝蓋，以安撫的語氣說：「沒關係，放輕鬆，深吸一口氣，說：啊！」她很不自然的跟著說：「啊！」。
我趁機放進了鴨嘴，輕輕一撐，子宮頸跳進了眼簾。不妙！她的子宮頸口約七、八點鐘方向，長了一小片蕈狀贅生物，直徑約0.5公分，表面粗糙，邊緣不規則。我用採檢棒在其上輕刮一下就流血了。
心想：『子宮頸癌！八九不離十了』。
出了內診室，不知情的先生微笑著問我：「醫生，有沒有什麼問題？」我面色凝重，語氣保守的告訴他：「有問題，需要進一步檢查。我幫你太太轉診到醫院作子宮頸切片檢查。」先生的笑臉僵住了。
「症狀已經一年了，妳都不理它嗎？」「一年前我在XX婦產科作了一次抹片檢查。」「沒問題嗎？」
「作的時候醫生沒說什麼，三個星期後，報告出來時，他要我回去作切片檢查。」
「結果呢？」先生忍不住了，以埋怨而帶點不忍的眼神看著老婆說：「都是她！說什麼怕痛，不敢去作切片，結果跑去另一家婦產科又作了一次抹片。
好了！第二次的抹片報告正常，她就自欺欺人的說沒事了，就這樣拖了一年。
我常看報紙的醫學版，我告訴她，抹片的檢出率又不是百分之百，第一次檢查有問題就應該作切片檢查了。她就是不聽，真是鴕鳥！」她在一旁紅著眼，欲言又止。
「其實我不是怕痛， 不敢作切片。我只是很擔心萬一是的話，所以就過一天算一天」說著說著，眼淚滴了下來。先生靠了過去，摟了下她的肩膀，也跟著紅了眼眶。
她接受了轉診，到某醫學中心作了包含子宮頸切片的一系列檢查。證實是子宮頸癌，二期上半，根據統計，五年存活率是55％！看到這對恩愛夫妻的落寞下場，我不禁想：『如果，她一年多前就接受子宮頸切片檢查呢？
可能那時候還在第一期，五年存活率──75％。
又如果，她從有性行為開始，就每年作一次子宮頸抹片檢查呢？那，她的子宮頸癌應該可以在零期（原位癌）時就發現。原位癌的治癒率接近100％！』
改變體質的方法，請敬告所有的女性同胞應多注意坐姿 .....請耐心看完，女性同胞要注意囉!!男性同胞也可把這封傳給你的女性朋友....人除了睡覺外，大部份時間都在坐，無論坐辦公桌、坐著吃飯、看電影、開車，一天中坐上七、八小時算稀鬆平常的事。
不過很多人大概不瞭解，坐的不當可是會出問題的。長期久坐者容易造成血液循環不順暢，同時也會引發婦科方面的疾病，甚至也可能導致不孕症。
台北市立和平醫院中醫師陳旺全表示，一個人長期久坐多半也缺乏運動，此將導致「氣滯」及「血 瘀」，易使人體某一臟器發生功能紊亂，或功能障礙，由此可知「久坐」對婦女的不孕也有某種程度影響。
陳旺全醫師指出，很多病人中常見的未生產過，三十幾歲坐辦公桌的上班族女性由於長期久坐，月經前及月經期的常有劇烈疼痛，這是因久坐加上缺乏正常運動，以致氣血循環障礙；
有些是因久坐導致經血逆流入輸卵管、卵巢，引起下腹痛、腰痛，尤其有厲害的經痛，此即所謂巧克力囊腫，也是不孕原因之 一；
此外，氣滯血瘀也易導致淋巴或血行性的栓塞，使輸卵管不通；更有因久坐及體質上的關係，使子宮內膜組織因氣滯血瘀而增生至子宮外，形成子宮內膜異位症，這些都是比較明顯的不孕原因之一。
西醫方面對久坐與不孕的關係並無研究，不過醫師表示，長期久坐或姿勢不佳，經血容易逆流，造成慢性骨盆腔充血（鬱血症）， 骨盆會隱隱作痛而刺激到週圍神經而造成腫漲，年齡愈大愈易感受到，久坐亦會使循環不良，抵抗力變差。
不孕症患者接受治療時須充分與醫師配合，不可過度緊張或問東問西，抱著高度的懷疑，既不信任醫師，對自己也失去信心，要知道情緒緊張會使性腺刺激荷爾蒙的分泌失調，影響整個內分泌系統的平衡，受孕機會就更低了。
如果您的工作幾乎都離不開「坐」，那麼應接受醫師建議，每40分鐘後休息10分鐘，做做伸展動作，或下班後從事散步、游泳、韻律舞等，都能有效改善因久坐造成的循環障礙。女生不宜久坐。

西醫方面對久坐與不孕的關係並無研究，不過醫師表示，長期久坐或姿勢不佳，經血容易逆流，造成慢性骨盆腔充血（鬱血症）， 骨盆會隱隱作痛而刺激到週圍神經而造成腫漲，年齡愈大愈易感受到，久坐亦會使循環不良，抵抗力變差。
不孕症患者接受治療時須充分與醫師配合，不可過度緊張或問東問西，抱著高度的懷疑，既不信任醫師，對自己也失去信心，要知道情緒緊張會使性腺刺激荷爾蒙的分泌失調，影響整個內分泌系統的平衡，受孕機會就更低了。
如果您的工作幾乎都離不開「坐」，那麼應接受醫師建議，每40分鐘後休息10分鐘，做做伸展動作，或下班後從事散步、游泳、韻律舞等，都能有效改善因久坐造成的循環障礙。女生不宜久坐。
